AnkerWork B600 Video Bar
The AnkerWork
AnkerWork B600 Video Bar:
The AnkerWork B600 Video Bar features a 2K camcorder, microphone arrays, stereo speakers and lighting in a small package for less than $ 220. After trying more Camcorders for Zoom calls than I can take, I can honestly say that the main thing about Anchor is to hit their hands.
The B600 Video Bar is larger than most standard camcorders, but that's because it features more technology than any camera I've ever seen. Let's take a look at it for a moment and then let me judge for you if it's something you want to take with you. Spoiler alert: You want to select one.
Inside the box you will find the AnkerWork B600 Video Bar, a USB-C cable, an AC adapter with three different plugs, so it can be used anywhere in the world, and some literature.
On one side of the device you will find a button to turn the built-in video light on and off; Brightness control is a capacitive touch bar on the right side of the camera itself. You can also adjust the brightness and warmth of the light using the free AnkerWork software; let's get back to it a little bit.
On the other hand, there is a similar button for turning the microphone array on and off. This is great for people who like to use a boom or desktop microphone when recording.
Below it is a standard 3/8 ″ tripod mount, but the video bar sends with a laptop / monitor stand, which is already part of the delivery. I already use it on a Samsung monitor and it holds the video bar nicely in place.

At the top of the Video Bar is a dust grille that hides two 2W speakers. Anchor notes that the speakers are made of "special silk diaphragm", so you can get the best possible sound from such small speakers. While they can't compare AudioEngine speakers on my desktop, they provide much better sound than I get from my MacBook speakers. Videobar AnkerWork B600

On the back is a USB-C input for power (yes, unlike most camcorders, the B600 requires its own power supply), a second USB-C port for connecting the B600 to a computer, and an older USB-A port. Frankly, it's not clear when they'll include the final port, because the B600 has all the equipment you need for video calling and recording.
